The Dean of the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University Olomouc, in the Czech Republic, hereby announces a call for applications for university teaching positions.

Position: lecturer

Requirements: Native speaker; university education is welcomed; teaching competence for teaching English as a foreign language (i.e. TESOL/TEFL); reliability; motivation, responsibility; the knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage.

The Kurt and Ursula Schubert Center for Jewish Studies

Position: assistant professor
Field: Jewish Studies - history
Workload: 0.5; number of vacant positions: 1
Beginning of employment: 1 January 2020
Requirements: Ph.D. or a higher qualification with a focus on the history of Jews in the Middle Ages and the Early modern period, the history of Jewish-Christian relations, the history of Jews in Moravia; Medieval literature; biblical Hebrew.

Department of Sociology, Andragogy and Cultural Anthropology

Position: assistant professor
Field: Andragogy

Beginning of employment: 1 January 2020
Requirements: university degree in Andragogy or a similar field; teaching skills; prerequisites for scholarly activity in the field, publications in the field (including active participations at foreign conferences); knowledge of at least one world language (ability to lecture in English), PC skills.
