Gradual easing of the anti-epidemic measures in schools will allow starting clinical and practical teaching to resume for students of all class years starting Monday, 10 May. The new government measures will also allow individual consultations and exams to take place in person with no limit to the number of students (as long as there is 1.5 metres’ distance between them, respirators are worn, and the student provides proof of having been tested for the presence of Covid-19 with negative results). Due to the fact that the semester is about to end shortly, your faculty/department will inform you whether your lessons will be resumed in person.

Mandatory testing of students to continue

At the same time, mandatory weekly testing of students will continue. Students need to be tested once every seven days.

SWe would like to remind those students who are returning to Olomouc after a long period of virtual lessons that entry to UP dormitories and buildings is only possible with proof of a negative test for Covid-19. You must have proof of a negative test with you on your first day of return. For this reason, UP is offering special, free testing at the Faculty of Arts on Monday, 10 May from 8:30 to 9:15 am (registration is possible until 8 pm on Sunday, 9 May. Of course, you can arrange your own test at certified testing places in Olomouc/Czechia. Afterwards you can join into regular testing of students at UP.
