For UP students For UP employees Other news and tips from UP Accommodation and dining

On 17 August, the Czech Government announced that as of 1 September, people will again be obligated to wear masks in closed spaces. Although the decree was mitigated on 20 August, the situation can affect life at Palacký University. UP management is closely monitoring developments in the situation, is in communication with all the competent authorities, and will keep students and employees informed about all the latest developments in a timely fashion.

In regards to this, we are reminding you of the special UP webpage where you can find regular updates on all necessary information about COVID-19 measures, restrictions, and organisational issues. The most important information will be sent via e-mail and will also be shared on social networks. In the days to come, we will update you regarding the wearing of masks inside UP buildings and/or the situation with international students at the UP dorms.

Your questions are welcome via e-mail at faq@upol.cz. We believe that the entire semester will take place despite possible restrictions and without any major problems.
