Keeping them on board: Teaching English to pre-school children
On Thursday, June 20, at 3pm, we offer a seminar for teachers of English to pre-school children, prepared in cooperation with Macmillan Education and led by Mgr. Daniela Clarke.
Children are natural language learners and have the ability to acquire a foreign language with ease. In this seminar, we will look at the importance of teaching children solely in the target language, without the use of L1 instruction or translation. You will experience a range of effective teaching strategies and activities, consider the pedagogical principles behind them, and look at how they can be linked together to offer children motivating, meaningful and enjoyable learning, while keeping to the lesson aims.

Business English: Get them speaking through role-play
On Thursday, June 20, at 5pm, we offer a seminar for teachers of Business English, prepared in cooperation with Macmillan Education and led by Mgr. Daniela Clarke.
When asked what is most significant about learning English, most students will say that it is speaking. In business, speaking is one of the key skills used for communication, whether we are making a formal phone call, negotiating or having a job interview. This workshop focuses on how we can effectively use role-play to help learners of Business English become more accurate and more fluent speakers both in business situations and in real life.
Seminar in English, entrance free of charge, please confirm your attendance here.
