World of impaired hearing people
On Friday, March 16, at 2.30 pm in the British Centre.
A lecture prepared in cooperation with the British Council will be led by Josef Sergej Bovkun (deaf editor of the Czech TV) and interpreted by Naďa Dingová (sign language interpreter).
A lecture on the history of impaired hearing communities and their co-existence with the majority society. Mr. Bovkun will show us the examples of sign language and describe the common life of impaired hearing people – how they work, what they do to have fun or how they communicate with abroad, etc. You will have a chance to ask questions or try the sign language.

Mock Cambridge Exams
In cooperation with the Moravian English College we organize the Mock Cambridge Exams for those interested in passing one of these internationally recognized language exams. The mock tests will be held in the British Centre on Saturday, March 31. The application form is available here.
