General Medicine
The quality of medical studies at Palacký University has attracted students from around the world for decades. The curriculum is fully comparable with current European standards. Learning the Czech language is included in the first three years of the programme.
Graduates from the programme are awarded the degree Doctor of General Medicine (Medicinae Universae Doctor, abbr. MUDr.), equivalent to M.D. The degree is recognized in most countries for a limited registration and for locally required licensing examinations such as the USMLE in the United States and the PLAB test in Great Britain.

Euroculture
The programme, provided by a consortium of 6 European universities, focuses on cultural and social inheritance as well as European standards, values and citizenship. The primary aim of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Euroculture programme is to prepare graduates from Europe and third-countries for professions where the knowledge of present Europe and European Union institutions are of relevance.
The programme teaches students the methods and skills required to identify the European dimensions of social problems, to collect and process relevant information of European institutions and organisations and to reflect on the cultural aspects and factors that play a role in the process of European identity formation and European integration.

Political Science and European Studies
This programme presents an opportunity for international students to enroll in a complex and modern study focused mainly on European Union, its institutions, policies, perspectives and international context. A comprehensive set of compulsory courses is further extended by a varied offer of optional classes, covering various related topics and expanding the scope of the standard study programme.
The Ph.D. programme presents the highest available level of higher education in Political Science in the European Union, available in English for international students. The three-year doctoral programme accepts a limited number of students, ensuring the best conditions for their future academic and research activities.

Adapted Physical Activity
The Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity programme is provided in by a consortium of 4 European Universities (PU Olomouc, Czech Republic), University College Oslo (Norway), University of Limerick (Ireland) and Catholic University in Leuven (Belgium)) to offer the students a comprehensive training and adequate knowledge in the many aspects of physical activities of people with special needs and different handicaps.
Students have the opportunity to study at two or more universities of the consortium plus to spend a period of study at one of the partner universities in a third-country (University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, the University of Queensland in Australia and the University of Virginia in the United States).

Central European Studies
The main aim of the programme is to familiarize students with the history and current situation of Central European countries. It is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the history, political systems, economy, political philosophy, sociology and ethnic and minority politics in Central European countries. Special attention is given to current transformation of political, economic and social life in the Central European countries.
Courses include: Central European History since 1945, Central European Political Systems, Ethnic and National Minorities in Central Europe, Central European Culture and Society, Politics of the Environment in Central and Eastern European Countries, Central European Countries and European Integration.

Central European Legal Studies Programme
The programme will introduce the Law of Central European Countries in all disciplines including the civil law, criminal law, business law, EU law, environmental law and others. A special attention is given to current transformation of legal systems of Central European countries and legal and constitutional history with special focus on the Czech and Slovak Republics.
