AARC/DRC Project - 2013 DIANET International School

The University of Trieste is able to hold the first 'DIANET International School' from April 13th to 22nd, 2013. This International School is part of the project 'DIANET – Danube Initiative and Alps-Adriatic Network', co-financed by the European Social Fund 2007/2013 and the University of Trieste.

The project is part of the joint initiatives of the Alps-Adriatic Rectors' Conference and the Danube Rectors' Conference for the Danube Strategy of the European Union and has been endorsed by both Rectors' Conferences.

The first edition of this School, out of three, deals with Interdisciplinary Methods for the Sustainable Development of the Danube Region. Please, find attached an overview of the programme.

We invite applications by PhD Students, Post-doc Research Fellows or Junior Researchers (max 40 years old) of Palacky University, especially those with experience and interest in interdisciplinary studies in the context of sustainable development.

All organizational costs and participants' living expenses (food allowance and accommodation) shall be covered by the University of Trieste (ESF budget); travel costs will be covered by participants or their institution.

Each candidate has to present a short statement of purpose (see attached Application Form) and his/her Europass CV in English. The total number of participants is limited to 40.

The Organizing Committee will select applicants on the grounds of their scholarly achievements and statement of motivations. Selected participants will be contacted by our office by 15th March 2013 to proceed with the online registration.
